Orange Blossom & Fougére Collection

The orange blossom and ginger essential oil mixture produces a very elegant oriental amber based olfactory experience. It is a complex floral, citrus, spice and resinous blend that leaves a delicate powdery and spicy residue on the skin. The ingredients are all natural essential oils of the highest quality. The oils include bergamot, sweet orange, ginger, jasmine sambac, amber resin, vanilla, patchouli, tuberose, ambergris and orange blossom.

It represents a delightful and exclusive blend of rare white flowers (tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine) with the deep resinous oriental oils such as amber, real ambergris, and patchouli while a lightness is imparted by the citrus elements bergamot and sweet orange. A spicy punch is attributable to the ginger. The vanilla adds to the depth, warmth and sweetness of the mixture.

The inspiration for the perfume was L’Interdit made for the legendary and dearly loved and admired Audrey Hepburn by Hubert Givenchy. The color of the perfume and body cream is perfectly complementary to its name and to the night owl art work associated with the essential oil mixture. As with all of the Collesta art work it is created and painted by the founder Dr. Cynthia Magro.

The Orange Blossom and Ginger is available in perfume, body cream, rejuvenating body oil and soap. Each of the products is freshly made from the incubating oil mixture that are housed in an old Baccarat crystal decanter.

The original L'Interdit by Givenchy, launched in 1957, is a floral aldehyde fragrance with a complex composition. It features top notes of aldehydes, strawberry, mandarin, peach, and bergamot while the floral notes included jasmine, iris, rose, narcissus, lily of the valley, orris, and ylang-ylang. The base notes consist of sandalwood, benzoin, tonka, amber, musk, vetiver, and cistus (labdanum).
